"Love's Labour's Lost" World Premiere in Spain

The last adaptation of Shakespeare's play will premiere in Spain. People in Navarra, Madrid, Oviedo, Las Palmas, Alicante or Santander will have the chance to enjoy the production of the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

As part ot the global events organized by the British Council to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Bard's death during 2016, the threatre company Fundación Siglo de Oro in association with the Globe Threatre present in Spain one of Shakespeare's earliest plays. Love's Labour's Lost, a comedy of manners set in Navarra, and will be pre-premiered at the Castle of Olite in Navarra on April 23, 2016. Shortly afterwards, the national tour will start at the Canal Theatre in Madrid, where the performances (in English) will be from April 27 to May 15. Tickets are now available online and at the Theatre's box office.

Full of wordplay, witty puns and literary references, Love's Labour's Lost is Shakespeare at his best.
